Canada was questioned for its poor human rights records by a cluster of totalitarian countries like North Korea, Iran, and China.

Canada was once the shining city on a hill, promoting peace and creating the checks and balance in a world full of extremist ideas.

Today the Harper government was questioned by some of the worst dictatorial rules for its poor economic policies that lead to human rights violations, more specifically the impact of tar sands oil on aboriginal communities and a growing police state to oversee an increasingly impoverished nation .
