Finally, a representative government understands that bees are more valuable to agriculture than the profits of a few corporations. The state of Oregon responded to the sudden death of 50,000 bees found last month on a Target parking lot by temporarily banning some insecticides linked to the bee catastrophe, the Grist reports.
