Robin Hood Tax Gaining Track

The global financial system moves over $2 trillion every day without creating any value. The idea of Financial Transaction Tax, A.K.A the Robin Hood tax, is gaining momentum.

The Centre for American Progress shows that a 0.117 percent tax on stocks and stock-options trading, a 0.002 percent tax for bonds, and a 0.005 percent tax for futures, can raise over $50 billion and move financial markets toward greater efficiency.
