TemporalThe Ontario startup Temporal Power has turned used auto parts into a stainless-steel mechanical battery that stores enough energy from solar and wind to smooth out fluctuations in power supply, GreenBiz reports. Thanks to the support of the provincial government through subsidies and consulting, the company recently won a contract from HydroOne and received an investment worth $13 million from Enbridge.
