Weather Disasters Cost Record $110 Billion

The United States alone suffered $110 billion in damages from weather related disasters in 2012, the Huffington Post records. The country experienced record temperatures that led to droughts and wildfires, plus there were two huge hurricanes, including Sandy that ravaged the North Eastern coast. Ignoring climate change won’t make it go away.
