Report: Top 100 Corporations Received $1.2 Trillion in Welfare
A new report by Open the Books shows that the Fortune 100 companies received a total of $1.2 Trillion in corporate welfare from 2000-2012, non-including the bailouts to auto and banking sectors issued after the 2008 recession.
The report shows that the military, banking, agri-business, and oil sectors received the largest handouts.
